Traditional junior cricket is often limited by the calendar, leaving highly competitive players without elite match-play for the majority of the year. Net sessions and indoor practice are essential, but they cannot replicate the intensity of a high-stakes match.

The Junior Cricket Premier League (JCPL) was founded to bridge this gap. We provide a professional-grade platform for the “shoulder months”—the critical windows in September–October and February–April—ensuring that the most motivated young cricketers can compete.

The Fastest 50 Format

At the heart of our league is the Fastest 50: a proprietary, high-octane format designed for speed, strategy, and inclusivity. Played on specialized all-weather facilities, the JCPL ensures consistent playability, regardless of the British weather.

Our Mission

Launched in Leeds, the JCPL is dedicated to evolving the youth game. By partnering with a select group of Founding 8 clubs, we are building a sustainable circuit that provides a fun competition that keeps the next generation of competitive cricketers sharp, focused, and ready for the main seasons.
